An eight armed form of the goddess exists in the Barabhuji cave, Khandgiri, Orissa, but symbols are indistinct. We have as many as 8 varieties of Padmavati images in stone, marble, metals or bronze. Also we sind Padmavati in the palm-leaf manuscripts in the form of paintings. Her complexion is generally describeed as red, golden or terrific red. Adbhuta Padmavati Kalpa gives her complexion as white with white garments.
