But this is not sufficient to identify Kulárka Pandita with Sivaditya Miśra, For, Vâdîndra, Pratyagrûpa-bhagavân and Bhuvansundara have all separately mentioned the nanies of Kulárka Pandita and Sivaditya Misra iu their works. Vadindra mentions Kulâtka? Pandita only once and Śivaditya" Miśra four times separately. Pratyagrupa-bhagavan, the commentator of Chitsukhi, also mentions the name of Kulárka? Pandita only once and that of Sivaditya' some ten times separately. Bhuvauasundara in his commentary 01 Mahavidyavidambana also mentions Kulárka Pandita and Sivaditya Misra separately, Had both of them been identical Bhuvanasundara would have explained it accordingly in the commentary. Besides, wherever the name of Kulárka Pandita appears in the above books, it is invariably mentioned in connection with the Mahavidya syllogisms only and not in connection with any other topic. But the name of Sivaditya Miśra is mentioned in connection with the definitions of Guņa, Játi, Satpratipaksha &c. No doubt Śivaditya Miśra seems to have made use of the Mahavidya syllogisms of Kulárka Paudita and written either a commentary on the Dasaślokî-Mahavidya-sútra or an original work in support of the same as may be inferred from a verse of siváditya's quoted by Vádîndra in his Mahavidyavidanibana. In commenting on this verse Bhuvanasundara says that the verse is quoted by Vádiudra from another treatise on Mahavidya. Many Authors Wrote Works on Mahavidya Before VadindraMany learned men who preceded Vádîndra seem to have writteu works either in refutation or support of the Mahavidyá syllogisms.
