After Pratikramaņa, he sat in meditation and passed away quietly. Akbar donated 22 Bighas of land for his memorial. Ladakībai of Diu built a Stūpa and established Pādukās. Vijayasena Sūri arrived 15 days after the Sāmādhi (Kāla Dharma ) of his Guru and assumed the leadership of his Gaccha. : The poet prays pārśvānatha · Victory' to his poem Hīrā Saubhāgya Kāvya. Thus the epic starts with a mangalācaraṇa in praise of Pārśva and concludes with a prayer unto him. HIRA-SAUBHĀGYAM AS AN EPIC POEM Hīra-saubhāgyam (HS.) is a historical epic poem. A reference to the biographical sketch of Hīra-Vijaya Sūri (HV) will show that HV played a historic role for his community through his religious influence over Akbar.
