यह वाक्य यो हो“An artist rises from the state of......Bte." सुधारके पक्षमें यह कारण उपस्थित है"That the state of unbalance, itself, is not creative.
पर नहीं। ऊपरका लिखना व्यर्थ है। उसे कया समझिए । अब मैं समझा कि मैं गलत समझा । प्रश्न आर्टिस्टका नहीं, आर्टिस्टके creations का है। पहले मैने जाना कि artist के creation (जन्म) का सवाल है । खैर।
अब स्थितिको मैं यूं समझता हूँ । कोइलेसे आग होती है । वह (आग') सदा कोइलेस (लकडी आदिसे) होती है, यह भी कह दीजिए। दोनोंमें छठ बात कोई नहीं है। लेकिन यह कहनेसे आगकी प्रकृतिपर प्रकाश पड़ता है, सो नहीं । कोइला मलिन हो, आग सदा उज्ज्वल है।
आर्टिस्टका unbalance एक प्रकारका conditional antecedent है। पर आग जैसे कोइलेको पार कर देती है, वैसे ही creation unbalance को मिटानेके लिए है। कोइला तो पत्थर है,-दियासलाई उसमें आग दिखाती है। creation के मामलेमें वह दियासलाई है क्या ? जो रवींद्रनाथने कहा वह उस creationकी आगमें दियासलाई-वाला तत्त्व समझा जाय | unbalance उसमें कोइला-रूपक तत्त्व है ।......
......Unbalance is inherent, is implicit. No man is in perfect harmony, can ever be in complete unision, with his environs. All experience unbalance. But everybody is not an artist. So, unbalance does not lead to creation direct. It cannot. It is a principle of disintegration. What it does is to stimulate our senses and sharpen our seeking. It makes ug miss balance and be acutely conscious of the want of it. It is only thus that it 'belps creation. It is Faith, working through doubt,
