:20: ON THE FIFTH STEP THERE GETS
MANIFESTED THE SUPREME SOUL
The Supreme Soul:- Child ! You weave your life in five stages to gain me. Thereafter, there never will be any separation between you and me. Then forever we both shall remain united. First of all, your appearance should get changed. Your body dependant on decoration of ornaments and pomp, fashionable hair-styles and clothes, your facial expressions showing anger and excitements of raw instincts, eyes with hunger for lust, your ears hungry to hear self-praise, cruel thought processes, your tongue only roaming in search of tasty delicacies, your intellect full of selfishness, your heart with all kinds of worldly attachments, your bright teeth trying to attract others, uptodate outside pomp and show, arrangements of the imported items, attachment to colourful people and materials ~ all these are elements of obstacles for meeting me. A 'SADHAK' who comes forward to meet me just cannot have such clumsy appearance. To me, only one can come who does not have any blemish of pomp, whose hairs and clothes are simple, whose face is always pleasant, the eyes are without any evil, whose ears are always busy in hearing praises of others, whose thoughts are quite sober, whose tongue is not a slave of your instinct of eating, whose intellect is in habit of doing good for others, whose heart is simple, and he should not be painted with colours and with ornaiental decorations to attract others; only if one has such
