मंजरी पर विचरण करने वाली कोयल के मधुरशब्द सुनकर मत्त (मोहित) हो सकता है? कभी नहीं ॥ ३ ॥ रमणी-मृदुपाणि-कंकण-क्वणनाकर्णनपूर्णघूर्णना: । अनुभूतिनटी-स्फुटीकृतप्रियसंगीतरता न योगिनः ॥४॥
भावार्थ : अनुभूतिरूपी नटी से प्रकट होने वाले प्रिय (आध्यात्म) संगीत में मग्न योगी रमणियों के कोमल कणों के कंकणों की ध्वनि सुनकर कभी आसक्त नहीं होते ॥४॥ स्खलनाय न शुद्धचेतसा ललनापंचमचारुघोलना । यदियं समतापदावली - मधुरालापरतेर्न रोचते ॥५॥
भावार्थ : शुद्धचित्त वाले साधकों को रमणियों के पंचमस्वर की यह मधुरध्वनि स्खलित नहीं कर सकती, क्योंकि समता की कोमलकान्तपदावली के मधुर आलाप में रत साधकों को ललनाओं का यह पंचमनाद रुचिकर नहीं होता ॥५॥ सततं क्षयि शुक्रशोणितप्रभवं रूपमपि प्रियं न हि । अविनाशि – निसर्गनिर्मलप्रथमानस्वकरूपदर्शिनः ॥६॥
भावार्थ : अविनाशी, स्वभाव से निर्मल और विराट् आत्म-स्वरूप देखने वाले योगिजनों को सतत् क्षीण होने वाला, वीर्य और रज से उत्पन्न युवती - रूप कदापि प्रिय नहीं लगता ॥६॥ परदृश्यमपायसंकुलं विषयो यत्खलु चर्मचक्षुषः । न हि रूपमिदं मुदे यथा निरपायानुभवैकगोचरम् ॥७॥
