________________ भावार्थ : आगमोक्त जो अर्थ (वचन) आज्ञा से ग्राह्य हैं, उन्हें आज्ञाग्राह्य के रूप में, तथा जो अर्थ (बातें) युक्तिग्राह्य हैं, उन्हें युक्ति से ग्रहण करने के रूप में यथास्थान संयोजन करने की योग्यता यदि साधक में नहीं है, तो उसका वैराग्य ज्ञानगर्भित नहीं है ॥३८॥ गीतार्थस्यैव वैराग्यं ज्ञानगर्भं ततः स्थितम् । उपचारादगीतस्याप्यभीष्टं तस्य निश्रया ॥३९॥ भावार्थ : इसलिए यह सिद्ध हुआ कि ज्ञानगर्भित वैराग्य गीतार्थ को ही हो सकता है; औपचारिकरूप में गीतार्थ के निश्राय में अगीतार्थ को भी ज्ञानगर्भित वैराग्य माना गया है ॥३९॥ सूक्ष्मेक्षिका च माध्यस्थ्यं सर्वत्र हितचिन्तनम् । क्रियायामादरो भूयान् धर्मे लोकस्य योजनम् ॥४०॥ चेष्टा परस्य वृत्तान्ते मूकान्धबधिरोपमा । उत्साहः स्वगुणाभ्यासे दुःस्थस्येव धनार्जने ॥४१॥ मदनोन्मादवमनं मद-सम्मर्दमर्दनम् । असूयातन्तुविच्छेदः समतामृतमज्जनम् ॥४२॥ स्वभावान्नैव चलनं चिदानन्दमयात् सदा । वैराग्यस्य तृतीयस्य स्मृतेयं लक्षणावली ॥४३॥ भावार्थ : सूक्ष्मदृष्टि, माध्यस्थ्यभाव, हितचिन्तन, क्रिया के प्रति अत्यन्त आदर, जनता को धर्म में लगाना, दूसरों की अध्यात्मसार
