________________ भावार्थ : इसलिए संसारवृद्धि के कारणों पर द्वेष ( अरुचि) हो, तभी विषयों में अप्रवृत्ति होती है; और विषयों में अप्रवृत्ति होने से संसार को निर्गुण (निःसार) रूप में देखने पर ही वैराग्य निराबाध - निर्विघ्न होता है ॥ ९ ॥ चतुर्थेऽपि गुणस्थाने नन्वेवं तत् प्रसज्यते । युक्तं खलु प्रमातृणां भवनैर्गुण्यदर्शनम् ॥१०॥ भावार्थ : यहाँ शिष्य शंका प्रस्तुत करता है कि यों तो अविरति सम्यग्दृष्टि (भोगों में प्रवृत्त) चौथे गुणस्थानक में भी वस्तु को यथार्थरूप से, प्रमाण से, निश्चयरूप से ज्ञातापुरुष संसार की निर्गुणता असारता जानते हैं, क्या उन्हें वैराग्य हो सकता है? और वह वैराग्य युक्त है ? ||१०|| ॥१०॥ सत्यं चारित्रमोहस्य महिमा कोऽप्ययं खलु । यदन्यहेतुयोगेऽपि फलायोगोऽत्र दृश्यते ॥ ११ ॥ भावार्थ : उपर्युक्त कथन सत्य है, परन्तु चारित्रमोहनीयकर्म की कुछ ऐसी महिमा है कि चौथे गुणस्थानक में अन्य हेतुओं का योग होने पर भी फल का योग नहीं है; फल का अभाव दिखाई देता है ॥ ११ ॥ दशाविशेषे तत्रापि न चेदं नास्ति सर्वथा । स्वव्यापारहृतासंगं तथा च स्तवभाषितम् ॥१२॥ भावार्थ : चौथे गुणस्थान में सम्यक्त्वदशा में सर्वथा वैराग्य नहीं होता, ऐसी बात नहीं है, परन्तु वहाँ अपने अधिकार पाँचवां ४७
