________________ निमित्तमात्रभूतास्तु हिंसाऽहिंसादयोऽखिलाः । ये परप्राणिपर्याया न ते स्वफलहेतवः ॥ १३६॥ भावार्थ : हिंसा, अहिंसा आदि सब केवल निमित्तभूत ही हैं, क्योंकि जो परप्राणी के पर्याय है, वे अपने फल के हेतुरूप नहीं हैं ॥ १३६ ॥ व्यवहारविमूढस्तु हेतूंस्तानेव मन्यते । बाह्यक्रियारतस्वान्तस्तत्त्वं गूढं न पश्यति ॥१३७॥ भावार्थ : किन्तु व्यवहार में मूढात्मा उन हिंसादि को ही हेतुरूप मानता है, क्योंकि जिसका अन्त:करण बाह्य क्रियाओं में रचा-पचा है, वह गहन तत्त्व को नहीं देखता - समझता ॥१३७॥ हेतुत्वं प्रतिपद्यन्ते नवैते नियमास्पृशः । यावन्तः आश्रवाः प्रोक्तास्तावन्तो हि परिश्रवाः ॥१३८॥ भावार्थ : चूंकि ये नियम का स्पर्श नहीं करते, इस कारण से ( हिंसादि) हेतुत्व को प्राप्त नहीं करते, क्योंकि जितने आश्रव कहे गए हैं, उतने ही संवर कहे गए हैं ॥१३८॥ तस्मादनियतं रूपं बाह्यहेतुषु सर्वथा । नियतौ भाववैचित्र्यादात्मैवाश्रव - संवरौ ॥१३९॥ भावार्थ : इस कारण बाह्य हेतुओं में सर्वथा अनियमितता (अनिश्चितता) है, अत: भावों की विचित्रता के कारण आत्मा अध्यात्मसार २६२
