________________ भावार्थ : उस-उस जीव के कर्मों से उत्पन्न, जन्म, जरा, मृत्युरूप जल से परिपूर्ण, मोहरूपी महावर्त वाली, कामरूपी वडवानल से भयंकर, आशाओं (इच्छाओं) रूपी महावात से पूर्ण, कषायरूपी कलशों से उछलते हुए, असद्विकल्पों रूपी उद्धत (प्रचण्ड) तरंगचक्र को धारण करता हुआ, हृदय में स्त्रोतसिकारूपी वेला की वृद्धि (मन में श्रोत्रादि विषय-वासना के कठोर ज्वार) के कारण दुर्लंघ्य, प्रार्थनारूपी लताओं की परम्परा (सन्तान) वाली, दुःख से पूर्ण हो सके, ऐसे विषयसुखरूपी समुद्र का उदर (मध्यभाग) है । जहाँ अज्ञानरूपी दुर्दिन (मेघों से ढँका हुआ) है, आपत्ति रूपी बिजलियों के गिरने से भयोत्पादक है, कदाग्रहरूपी कुवात (आंधी) से हृदय को कंपाने वाला है, विविध व्याधिरूपी मछलियाँ, कछुए आदि से व्याप्त है, तथा चंचलता, शून्यता और गर्वदोष रूपी चलायमान पर्वतों से वह दुर्गम है, ऐसे संसाररूपी समुद्र का चिन्तन करना चाहिए ॥ ४१-४२-४३-४४-४५॥ तस्य सन्तरणोपायं सम्यक्त्वदृढबंधनम् । बहुशीलांगफलकं ज्ञाननिर्यामिकान्वितम् ॥४६॥ संवरास्ताश्रवाच्छिद्रं गुप्तिगुप्तं समन्ततः । आचारमण्डपोद्दीप्ताऽपवादोत्सर्गभूद्वयम् ॥४७॥ असंख्यैर्दुर्धरैर्योवैर्दुष्प्रधृष्यं सदाशयैः । सद्योगकूपस्तम्भाग्रन्यस्ताध्यात्मसितांशुकम् ॥४८॥ २०६ अध्यात्मसार
