वाणी के मुख का चुम्बन कर लिया हो, परन्तु उन्होंने वाणी के लीलारहस्य का अवगाहन नहीं किया; यही समझना चाहिए ॥ ३ ॥

असद्ग्रहोत्सर्यदतुच्छदर्यैर्बोधांशतान्धोकृतमुग्धलोकैः विडम्बिता हन्त जड़ैर्वितण्डापाण्डित्यकण्डूलतया त्रिलोकी ॥४॥ भावार्थ : कदाग्रह के कारण जिनका अहंकार अत्यन्त उछल रहा है तथा जिन्होंने बोध (ज्ञान) के एक अंश (लेश) से मुग्ध (भोले) लोगों को अंधा बना दिया है, अफसोस है, ऐसे जड़पुरुषों ने वितण्डावाद करने में पाण्डित्य की खुजली से तीनों जगत् के जीवों को विडम्बित ( तिरस्कृत) कर रखा है ||४|| विधोर्विवेकस्य न यत्र दृष्टिस्तमोघनं तत्वरविर्विलीनः । अशुक्लपक्षस्थितिरेष नूनमसद्ग्रहः कोऽपि कुहूविलासः ॥५॥
भावार्थ : जिससे विवेकरूपी चन्द्रमा के दर्शन नहीं हुए, हृदय में गाढ़ अंधकार छाया हुआ है, जिसके मस्तिक में तत्त्वज्ञानरूपी सूर्य अस्त हो गया है, वहाँ कृष्णपक्ष की स्थिति वाली असद्ग्रहरूपी किसी (अलौकिक ) अमावस्या का ही विलास है ॥५॥
कुतर्कदात्रेण लुनाति तत्त्ववल्लीं रसात् सिञ्चति दोषवृक्षम् । क्षिपत्यधः स्वादुफलं समाख्यमसद्ग्रहच्छन्नमतिर्मनुष्यः ॥६॥
भावार्थ : असद्ग्रह से जिसकी बुद्धि आच्छादित हो गई है, ऐसा मनुष्य कुतर्करूपी हंसिये से तत्त्वरूपी बेल को काट
