[ कदाग्रहत्याग: ] मिथ्यात्वदावानलनीरवाहमसद्ग्रहत्यागमुदाहरन्ति अतो रतिस्तत्र बुधैर्विधेया विशुद्धभावैः श्रुतसारवद्भिः ॥ १ ॥ भावार्थ : असद्ग्रह ( मिथ्या आग्रह ) को मिथ्यात्त्वरूपी दावाग्नि के लिए मेघ के समान कहा है, इसलिए शुद्धाशयवाले शास्त्र के सारज्ञ पण्डितों को इस कदाग्रहत्याग करने में रुचि रखनी चाहिए ||१||
असद्ग्रहाग्निज्वलितं यदन्तः क्व तत्र तत्त्वव्यवसायवल्ली । प्रशान्तपुष्पाणि हितोपदेश - फलानि चान्यत्र गवेषयन्तु ॥२॥
भावार्थ : जिनका चित असद्ग्रहरूपी आग से जला हुआ है, वहाँ तत्त्वनिश्चयरूपी बेल कहाँ ठहर सकती है? अतः शान्तिरूपी फूलों एवं हितोपदेशरूपी फलों की तलाश कहीं और जगह जाकर कीजिए ॥२॥
