બૃહત્સંગ્રહણ
નમિઉં અરિહંતાઈ, ઠિઈ-ભવણીગાહણા ય પત્તેય | સુર-નારયાણ વુડ્ઝ, નર-તિરિયાણ વિણા ભવણ ૧ / ઉવવાય-ચવણ-વિરહ, સંખે ઈગ-સમઈયં ગમા-ગમણે આ દસ વાસસહસ્સાઇ, ભવણવUણે જહન્નઠિઈ રા
અરિહંત વગેરેને નમસ્કાર કરીને દેવતા અને નારકીના દરેકના (૧) સ્થિતિ, (૨) ભવન, (૩) અવગાહના, મનુષ્ય અને તિર્યંચના દરેકના ભવન વિના (સ્થિતિ અને અવગાહના), (૪) ઉપપાતવિરહ, (૫) અવનવિરહ, (૬) એક સમયમાં ઉપપાતસંખ્યા, (૭) એક સમયમાં ચ્યવનસંખ્યા, (૮) ગતિ, (૯) આગતિ કહીશ. ભવનપતિની જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ ૧૦,૦૦૦ વર્ષ છે. (૧, ૨)
Having done obeisance to all Arihantās, I shall describe the (1) Sthiti = Lifespan (2) Bhavana = Residential abodes (3) Avagāhanā = Height (4) Upapāta viraha = Time gap between two births, former and latter (5) Cyavana viraha = Time gap between two deaths, former and latter (6) Upapāta sankhyā = Number of souls taking birth at the same moment (7) Cyavana sankhyā = Number of souls dying at the same moment (8) Gati = Next birth (9) Āgati = Previous birth, of celestial beings and hell dwellers, while all the same aspects except bhavana of human beings and creatures (animals, birds, insects etc.).
Bhavanapati celestial beings have minimum lifespan of 10,000 years. 1-2
