It is here to be necessarily borne in mind that humanity lies in being merciful. It is the supreme duty of man that he should sympathize with the miserable and should try to relieve them of their distress, but they should not be left to their Karmas,
Such Karmas are numerous as may be destroyed through proper effort, so it is our essential duty to try to remove or lessen another's disrress. He who is careless of doing this duty and leaves a miserable person to his Karma though able himself to remove or abate his annoyance. is an offender. • 91 TA BT " ( Compassion is the source of Dharma) is a well-known and memorable precept. ]
