પરા દષ્ટિ
સાતમી દષ્ટિ કહી, હવે તે પછીની કહેવામાં આવે છે. તે કહે છે –
समाधिनिष्ठा तु परा तदासङ्गविवर्जिता । सात्मीकृतप्रवृत्तिश्च तदुत्तीर्णाशयेति च ॥१७८॥ સમાધિનિષ્ઠા દષ્ટિ પર, તસ આસંગ વિહીન; આત્મારૂપ પ્રવૃત્તિ જ્યાં, આશય તેથી ઉત્તીર્ણ. ૧૭૮.
અથર–આઠમી પર દષ્ટિ સમાધિનિષ્ઠ અને તેના આસંગદોષથી વિવર્જિત એવી હોય છે તથા સાત્મીભૂત પ્રવૃત્તિવાળી અને તેનાથી ઉત્તીર્ણ આશયવાળી હોય છે.
વિવેચન
આઠમી દૃષ્ટિ સાર સમાધિ, નામ પરા તસ જાણુંજી; આપ સ્વભાવે પ્રવૃત્તિ પૂરણ, શશિ સમ બોધ વખાણુંછ” –એ. સઝા. ૮-૧
આ પરાષ્ટિ સમાધિનિષ્ઠ અને તે સમાધિના આસંગ દોષથી સર્વથા રહિત એવી હોય છે. વળી તે ચંદનગંધ ન્યાયે સાત્મીભૂત પ્રવૃત્તિવાળી અને તે પ્રવૃત્તિથી ઉત્તીર્ણ આશયવાળી હોય છે, કારણકે વાસક ચિત્તને અભાવ હોય છે.
આ આઠમી દષ્ટિ “પર” નામની છે, અને તેનું આ “પર” નામ સર્વથા યથાર્થ છે, કારણ કે એનાથી પર કેઈ નથી, અને એ સર્વથી પર છે, પરમ છે, સત્કૃષ્ટ છે,
જિક-રાપિનિr gm –આઠમી પરાદષ્ટિ તો સમાધિનિષ્ઠ હોય છે. સમાધિ તે દયાનવિશેષ છે, અથવા ધ્યાનનું ફલ છે એમ બીજાને કહે છે. કહ્યું છે કે- તેરાપરિસ્થ ધાર ' (T. -૧), “તત્ર પ્રત્યેનાનતા ધ્યાન' (-૨), “તદેવાર્શમાત્રનિર્માતં સ્વ ચમિત્ર સમાધિ:' (. ૨-૩ ).
તલાવિવર્જિતા–તેના-સમાધિના આસંગથી વિવજિત, સમીતરવૃત્તિ-સાત્મીકૃત પ્રવૃત્તિવાળી, સાત્મીભૂત પ્રવૃત્તિવાળી આ,ચંદન ધન્યાયે. તદુત્તીરાયા–તેનાથી પ્રવૃત્તિથી ઉત્તીર્ણ આશયવાળીવાસક ચિત્તના અભાવે.
