भावार्थ : 'शुद्धमार्ग का ही अन्वेषण करने से तीर्थ का उच्छेद होता है; ऐसा कहने वालों का लोकप्रवृत्ति के प्रति आदर और श्रद्धा रखकर तदनुसार चलना लोकसंज्ञा कहलाती है ॥११॥
शिक्षितादिपदोपेतमप्यावश्यकमुच्यते ।
द्रव्यतो भावनिर्मुक्तमशुद्धस्य तु का कथा ? ॥१२॥
भावार्थ : शिक्षित आदि पदों से युक्त आवश्यक भी द्रव्य से आवश्यक कहलाता है, तब फिर भावरहित अशुद्ध आवश्यक की बात ही क्या की जाय ? उसे तो द्रव्यावश्यक भी नहीं कहा जा सकता ॥१२॥
तीर्थेच्छेदभिया हन्ताविशुद्धस्येव चादरे । सूत्रक्रियाविलोपः स्याद् गतानुगतिकत्त्वतः ॥१३॥
भावार्थ : अफसोस है ! तीर्थ का उच्छेद हो जायगा, इस भय से अशुद्ध को ही अपनाने से तो गतानुगतिकता के कारण शास्त्रोक्त क्रिया का ही लोप हो जाता है उससे फिर तीर्थरक्षा कैसे होगी? ॥ १३ ॥
धर्मोद्योतेन कर्तव्यं कृतं बहुभिरेव चेत् ।
तदा मिथ्यादृशां धर्मो न त्याज्यः स्यात्कदाचन ॥१४॥ भावार्थ : जिस कार्य को अनेक लोगों ने किया, उसे ही धर्म में पुरुषार्थी को करना चाहिए; अगर ऐसी बात कहते हैं,
