कुमारी न यथा वेत्ति सुखं दयितभोगजम् । न जानाति तथा लोको योगिनां समतासुखम् ॥२०॥
भावार्थ : जैसे कुंआरी कन्या पति-सहवास के सुख को नहीं जानती, वैसे ही सांसारिक लोग योगिजनों को प्राप्त होने वाले समतासुख को नहीं जानते ॥२०॥ नति-स्तुत्यादिकाशंसाशरस्तीव्रः स्वमर्मभित् । समतावर्मगुप्तानां नार्तिकृत्सोऽपि जायते ॥२१॥
भावार्थ : नमस्कार, स्तुति, प्रशंसा, यश आदि की लिप्सा वे तीखे बाण हैं, जो साधक की आत्मा के मर्मस्थान का भेदन कर देते हैं; परन्तु समतारूपी कवच (बख्तर) पहनकर जिन्होंने पहले से ही अपनी आत्मा की सुरक्षा कर ली है, उन्हें ये सब पीड़ाकारी नहीं होते ॥२१॥ प्रचितान्यपि कर्माणि जन्मनां कोटिकोटिभिः । तमांसीव प्रभा भानोः क्षिणोति समता क्षणात् ॥२२॥
भावार्थ : जैसे सूर्य की प्रभा घने से घने अन्धकारसमूह को क्षणभर में नष्ट कर देती है, वैसे ही कोटि-कोटि जन्मों के संचित कर्मों को समता एकक्षण में नष्ट कर देती है ॥२२॥ अन्यलिंगादिसिद्धानामाधारः समतैव हि। रत्नत्रयफलप्राप्तेर्यया स्याद् भावजैनता ॥२३॥ अधिकार नौवाँ
