________________ छोड़ती । ममत्त्ववश वह उसके अपवित्र (गंदे) हो जाने पर भी अथवा उसकी विष्ठा (टट्टी) आदि अशुचि को भी पवित्रता से युक्त समझती है ॥१९॥ मातापित्रादि सम्बन्धोऽनियतोऽपि ममत्त्वतः । दृढ़ भूमिभ्रमवतां नैयत्येनावभासते ॥२०॥ भावार्थ : जिसके हृदय में भ्रम मजबूत स्थान जमाए हुए है, उन्हें माता, पिता, आदि का अनिश्चित - सम्बन्ध भी ममत्त्ववश निश्चित प्रतीत होता है ||२०|| भिन्नाः प्रत्येकमात्मानो, विभिन्नाः पुद्गला अपि । शून्यः संसर्ग इत्येवं यः पश्यति स पश्यति ॥ २१॥ भावार्थ : प्रत्येक आत्मा भिन्न-भिन्न है, पुद्गल भी आत्मा से भिन्न है, और उनका किसी प्रकार का सम्बन्ध नहीं है, इस प्रकार जो देखता है, वही देखता (द्रष्टा ) है ॥२१॥ अहंताममते स्वत्व-स्वीयत्व - भ्रमहेतुके । भेदज्ञानात् पलायेते रज्जुज्ञानादिवाहिभिः ॥ २२ ॥ भावार्थ : जैसे रस्सी के ज्ञान से सर्प का भ्रम नष्ट हो जाता है, वैसे ही भेदज्ञान से स्वत्त्व और स्वकीयत्वरूप भ्रम के हेतु अहंत्व और ममत्व नष्ट हो जाते हैं ॥ २२ ॥ किमेतदिति जिज्ञासा तत्त्वान्तर्ज्ञानसम्मुखी । व्यासंगमेव नोत्थातुं दत्ते क्व ममतास्थितिः ॥२३॥ अधिकार आठवां ८३
