फटता नहीं, क्योंकि उनका हृदय वज्र के परमाणुओं से बना हुआ है ॥२०॥ विषयेषु रतिः शिवार्थिनो न गतिष्वस्ति किलाखिलास्वपि । घननन्दनचन्दनार्थिनो गिरिभूमिस्वपरद्रुमेष्विव ॥२१॥
भावार्थ : जैसे सघन नन्दनवन के चन्दनवृक्षों के अभिलाषी को पर्वतीय भूमि पर उगे हुए अन्य वृक्षों पर प्रीति नहीं होती, वैसे ही मोक्षार्थी योगीजन को समस्त (चारों) गतियों के विषयों पर प्रीति नहीं होती ॥२१॥ इति शुद्धमतिस्थिरीकृताऽपरवैराग्यरसस्य योगिनः । स्वगुणेषु वितृष्णतावहं परवैराग्यमपि प्रवर्तते ॥२२॥
भावार्थ : इस प्रकार जिसने अपनी शुद्ध बुद्धि में अपरवैराग्यरस को स्थिर कर (जमा) लिया है, ऐसे योगियों को आत्मगुणों के प्रति निःस्पृहता धारण करने वाला पर वैराग्य भी उत्पन्न हो जाता है ॥२२॥ विपुलद्धि-पुलाकचारणप्रबलाशीविषमुख्यलब्धयः । न मदाय विरक्तचेतसामनुषंगोपनताः पलालवत् ॥२३॥
भावार्थ : आनुषंगिक प्राप्त हुई, विपुलद्धि, पुलाक, चारण और प्रबल आशीविष आदि लब्धिया विरक्तचित्त पुरुष के लिए अनाज के भूसे की तरह होती है, वे उसमें मद नहीं पैदा कर सकतीं ॥२३॥
