________________ कर्मण्यकर्म यः पश्येदकर्मणि च कर्म यः । स बुद्धिमान् मनुष्येषु स युक्तः कृत्स्नकर्मकृत् ॥३३॥ भावार्थ : जो मनुष्य कर्म में अकर्म देखता है और अकर्म में कर्म देखता है, वही मनुष्यों में बुद्धिमान है और वही समस्त कर्म करने वाला, एवं युक्त (कर्मयोगी) है ॥३३॥ कर्मण्यकर्म वाकर्म कर्मण्यस्मिन्नुभे अपि । नोभे वा भंगवैचित्र्यादकर्मण्यपि नो मते ॥३४॥ भावार्थ : कर्म में अकर्म माना है, अथवा अकर्म में कर्म माना है और ये दोनों इस कर्मयोग में माने हैं, अथवा ये दोनों इस कर्मयोग में नहीं माने हैं, क्योंकि भंगों (विकल्पों) की विचित्रता है ! इस कारण अकर्म में भी ये नहीं माने गये हैं ॥३४॥ कर्मनैष्कर्म्यवैषम्यमुदासीनो विभावयन् । ज्ञानी न लिप्यते भोगैः पद्मपत्रमिवाम्भसा ॥३५॥ भावार्थ : उदासीन ज्ञानी कर्मयोग और निष्कर्म (ज्ञान) योग की विषमता (असदृशता) पर विचार करते हुए जल से कमल के पत्ते की तरह भोगों में लिप्त नहीं होता ॥३५॥ पापाकरणमात्राद्धि, न मौनं विचिकित्सया । अनन्यपरमात् साम्याज्ज्ञानयोगी भवेन्मुनिः ॥३६॥ भावार्थ : केवल पापकर्म न करने से ही विचिकित्सा के कारण मुनित्व नहीं कहलाता, अपितु परम उत्कृष्ट समता से ज्ञानयोगी मुनि कहलाता है ॥३६॥ १७८ अध्यात्मसार
