________________ अतो मार्गप्रवेशाय, व्रतं मिथ्यादृशामपि । द्रव्यसम्यक्त्वमारोप्य ददते धीरबुद्धयः ॥१७॥ भावार्थ : इस कारण से धर्ममार्ग में प्रवेश कराने के लिए, द्रव्य-सम्यक्त्व का आरोपण करके धैर्यसम्पन्न बुद्धिवाले महात्मा मिथ्यादृष्टियों को भी व्रत (चारित्र) देते हैं ॥१७॥ यो बुद्ध्वा भवनैर्गुण्यं, धीरः स्याद् व्रतपालने । स योग्यो भावभेदस्तु दुर्लक्ष्यो नोपयुज्यते ॥१८॥ भावार्थ : जो जीव संसार की निर्गुणात्मक निःसारता समझकर व्रतपालन करने में धीर होता है, उसे ही योग्य जानना । आन्तरिक भावों का रहस्य जानना दुष्कर है, इसलिए यहाँ उसका उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए ॥१८॥ नो चेद् भावापरिज्ञानात् सिद्धयसिद्धिपराहतेः । दीक्षाऽदानेन, भव्यानां मार्गोच्छेदः प्रसज्यते ॥१९॥ भावार्थ : यदि पर्वोक्त रूप से योग्यता का स्वीकार नहीं किया जाय तो किसी के आन्तरिक भावों को नहीं जानने के कारण सिद्धि और असिद्धि दोनों का नाश हो जायगा और इससे भव्यजीवों को (पहचान न होने के कारण) दीक्षा नहीं दी जा सकेगी। इस प्रकार मार्ग का उच्छेद–लोप हो जायगा ॥१९॥ अशुद्धाऽनादरेऽभ्यासायोगानो दर्शनाद्यपि । सिद्धयेन्निसर्गजं मुक्त्वा तदप्याभ्यासिकं यतः ॥२०॥ १६ अध्यात्मसार
