भावार्थ : सुख की तरतमता (न्यूनाधिकता) होने से उत्कृष्ट सुख की भी सम्भावना है। इसलिए जिसमें अनन्तसुख का ज्ञान होता है, वही निर्भय मोक्ष है, ऐसा सिद्ध होता है ॥७६।। वचनं नास्तिकाभानां मोक्षसत्तानिषेधकम् । भ्रान्तानां तेन नादेयं परमार्थगवेषिणा ॥७७॥
भावार्थ : इसलिए मोक्ष के अस्तित्व का निषेध करने वाले, भ्रान्त एवं नास्तिकों के तुल्य लोगों के वचन का परमार्थान्वेषक पुरुष को जरा भी आदर नहीं करना चाहिए ॥७७॥ न मोक्षोपाय इत्याहुरपरे नास्तिकोपमाः । कार्यमस्ति न हेतुश्चेत्येषा तेषां कदर्थना ॥७॥
भावार्थ : नास्तिकसदृश दूसरे कितने ही लोग कहते हैं कि 'मोक्ष का उपाय है ही नहीं' वे कार्य को मानते हैं, लेकिन कारण को नहीं मानते; यही उनकी बड़ी विडम्बना है ॥७८।। अकस्मादेव भवतीत्यलोकं नियतावधेः । कदाचित्कस्य दृष्टत्वाद् बभाषे तार्किकोऽप्यदः ॥७९॥
भावार्थ : मोक्षप्राप्ति की अवधि नियत होने से अकस्मात् ही मोक्ष मिल जाता है। उनका यह कथन भी मिथ्या है। क्योंकि अवधि की नियतता कदाचित् (शायद ही कभी) दिखाई देती है । इस बात को नैयायिक भी निम्नोक्त रूप से कहते हैं ॥७९॥
