सकेगी, क्योंकि उस शरीर के योग का ज्ञान (उन कर्मों को) नहीं है। अतः आत्मक्रिया के बिना देह का संयोग हो ही नहीं सकता ॥२९॥ आत्मक्रियां विना च स्यान्मिताणुग्रहणं कथम् ? कथं संयोगभेदादिकल्पना चापि युज्यते ॥३०॥
भावार्थ : आत्मा में क्रिया न हो तो उस आत्मा से परिचित परमाणुओं का ग्रहण कैस होगा ? नहीं हो सकेगा । तथा संयोग और भेद वगैरह की कल्पना भी उसमें कैसे युक्तियुक्त होगी? नहीं होगी ॥३०॥ कथंचिन्मूर्ततापत्तिविना वपुरसंक्रमात् । व्यापारायोगतश्चैव यत्किञ्चित्तदिदं जगुः ॥३१॥
भावार्थ : शरीर के बिना भी उसमें संक्रम न होने से आत्मा को किसी भी प्रकार से मूर्त्तता की प्राप्ति हो जाएगी । यह जो प्रतिवादी ने बात कही है, वह तथ्यहीन है, क्योंकि उस आत्मा के व्यापार का ही अयोग है ॥३१॥ निष्क्रियोऽसौ ततो हन्ति हन्यते वा न जातुचित् । किञ्चित्केनचिदित्येव न हिंसाऽस्योपपद्यते ॥३२॥
भावार्थ : इस प्रकार आत्मा निष्क्रिय होने से यह कदापि किसी को मारता नहीं और न किसी के द्वारा मारा जाता है। इसलिए इस (नित्य) आत्मा को हिंसा प्राप्त नहीं होती ॥३२।। अधिकार बारहवाँ
