कायोत्सर्गादिसूत्राणां श्रद्धामेधादिभावतः । इच्छादियोगे साफल्यं देशसर्वव्रतस्पृशाम् ॥३५॥
भावार्थ : कायोत्सर्गादि सूत्रों के प्रति श्रद्धा, मेधा आदि भावनाओं से देशविरति और सर्वविरति वालों का इच्छादि योग में सफलता मिलती है ॥३५॥ गुडखण्डादिमाधुर्यभेदवत् पुरुषान्तरे । भेदेऽपीच्छादिभावानां दोषो नार्थान्वयादिह ॥३६॥
भावार्थ : गुड़, खांड (शक्कर) आदि की मधुरता के भेद के समान इस योग में भी इच्छादि भावों को लेकर अलग-अलग पुरुषों में भेद होने पर भी उन इच्छादि पदार्थों के अन्वय (सम्बन्ध) रूप होने से उनमें कोई दोष नहीं ॥३६॥ येषां नेच्छादिलेशोऽपि तेषां त्वेतत्समर्पणे । स्फुटो महामृषावाद इत्याचार्याः प्रचक्षते ॥३७॥
भावार्थ : जिसमें लेशमात्र भी इच्छादि योग न हो, उसे इस शास्त्र को सिखाने से स्पष्टतः महामृषावाद (बड़ा झूठ) लगता है, ऐसा पूर्वाचार्य कहते हैं ॥३७॥ उन्मार्गोत्थापनं बाढ़मसमंजसकारणे । भावनीयमिदं तत्त्वं, जानानैर्योगविंशिकाम् ॥३८॥
भावार्थ : असमंजस (अयोग्य या असंगत) कारण का सेवन करने पर यह समझना चाहिए कि उन्मार्ग का उत्थापन १०६
