of the name of the village (read by me Villa-) the consonant of the first akalara has somewhat odd form, and the second akshara might possibly belga; below, in line 41, the name is written either Vila- or Vila.

• B has distinctly gluta; in the present inscription the sign transcribed by fa differs somewhat from the sign for ta whicb elsewhere is used here.
* Read - faundik-ddi-prakritikan.
• B has Ithani-praediatay[4]. I do not find a similar term (containing Ikland) elsewhere, and am unable to suggest a suitable emendation. Read bhumichchhidr-dbhidhdna. .
