Oh Sarasvati! you being utterly truthful are the wife or Sakti of the Atman. You are one with the great Atman and equal to Him. You are one with Him on account of your having the same light as that of the Spirit. You, Vak, being full of intelligence, are the very measure and mother of the universe and of the great Atman.
अन्वयभाष्यम् ।
सरस्वति ! त्वं सत्या सत्यात्मिका आत्मनः सर्वान्तर्यस्य चेतनरूपस्य सती जाया शक्तिरूपा परमे आत्मनि सति सत्स्वरूपे समा समाना हिता अन्तर्हिता समेन रसेन सामरस्येन ज्योतिषा चिता चैतन्यज्योतिः शक्त्या च ओता सम्मिलिता असि, अतः सा वागेव विदा ज्ञानेन हेतुना विश्वस्य जगतः तथा आत्मनः परा माता प्रमात्री प्रेरयित्री च भवतीति, अत्र विश्वस्य प्रसवितृत्वेन प्रेरयितृत्वेन च वाचः तन्मातृत्वम्, आत्मनस्तु प्रमातृत्वेनैवेति विवेक: || तदेतत् परं मातृत्वं वाचः संवित्प्रधानसत्त्व योगेनेति : विशेषः, तदेतन्मातृत्वतत्त्वं वाग्देवतायाः एव परमं नित्यसिद्धमिति ॥
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION
On Sarasvati! you are truth and the wife and the power of Atman, the innermost spirit and the very source of existence. Being equal to the Atman in having light and power and spiritual strength, you are one with Him. You are Vak which measures and moves the Atman, and you are the mother of this universe.

द्वितीया ऋक् ।
सर॑स्वति॒ त्वं मात्र प्र॑च॒ोदिता॒ऽऽत्मना
चित्ति॑िभिः॒ः प्रज॑नि॒त्री भू॒तानां॒ योनि॑ः ॥
वा॒चा मात्र॑या॒ विश्वं॑ भू॒तं स्रुषुवे arग़ विदा माता विश्व॑स्यात्मनः परा॑ ॥ २ ॥ सर॑स्वति । त्त्रम् । मात्री । प्रचोदिता । आत्मना । चित्ति॑ऽभिः। प्र॒ऽज॒नित्री । भूतानाम् । योनि॑ः ॥ वा॒चा । मात्र॑या । विश्व॑म् । भूतम् । सुषुवे । वाक् । वि॒दा । मा॒ता । विश्व॑स्य । आत्मन॑ः । परा॒ ॥
