________________ बृहत्प्रत्याख्यानसंस्तरस्तवाधिकार २। ४७ शीलेनापि मर्तव्यं निःशीलेनापि अवश्यं मर्तव्यम् । यदि द्वाभ्यामपि मर्तव्यं वरं हि शीलत्वेन मर्तव्यम् ॥१०१॥ अर्थ-जो शील (व्रतकी रक्षा) वाले हैं वे भी मरेंगे और जो भूखप्यास आदिकी पीड़ासे मरण होनेके भयसे व्रत शील छोड़ देते हैं वे भी काल आनेपर अवश्य मरेंगे । यदि दोनों तरह से ही मरना है तो शीलसहित ही मरना अच्छा है । व्रतशील छोड देनेसे पापबंध अधिक होगा मरना तो पड़ेगा ही ॥ १०१ ॥ ___ इसलिये शीलसहित ही मरना श्रेष्ठ है ऐसा कहते हैं;चिरउसिदबंभयारी पप्फोडेदूण सेसयं कम्मं । अणुपुत्वीय विसुद्धो सुद्धो सिद्धिं गदि जादि ॥१०२॥ चिरोषितब्रह्मचारी प्रस्फोट्य शेषं कर्म । आनुपूा विशुद्धः शुद्धः सिद्धिं गतिं याति ॥ १०२॥ अर्थ-जिसने बहुतकालतक ब्रह्मचर्यव्रत सेवन किया है ऐसा मुनि शेष ज्ञानावरणादि कर्मोंकी निर्जराकर क्रमसे अपूर्व अपूर्व विशुद्ध परिणामोंकर अथवा गुणस्थानके क्रमसे असंख्यातगुणश्रेणी निर्जराकर कर्मकलंकसे रहित हुआ केवलज्ञानादि शुद्ध भावोंकर युक्त होके परमस्थान मोक्षको प्राप्त होता है। ऐसे आराधनाका उपाय जानना ॥ १०२ ॥ __ आगे आराधकका खरूप कहते हैंणिम्ममो णिरहंकारो णिकसाओ जिदिंदिओ धीरो। अणिदाणो दिठिसंपण्णो मरतो आराहओ होइ॥१०३॥ निर्ममः निरहंकारः निष्कषायः जितेंद्रियः धीरः । अनिदानः दृष्टिसंपन्नः म्रियमाण आराधको भवति॥१०३॥
