श्रावक धर्म विधि प्रकरण
कप्पणिज्जाण मिहीण सिक्खावयं
अन्नाईणं वाणं जईणमुचियं,

१०१. देश एवं समय के अनुसार शुद्ध अर्थात् न्यायोपार्जित एवं उद्गमनादि दोष से रहित कल्पनीय भोजन, पान, वस्त्र, औषधि आदि का मुनिजनों का दान करना। यह श्रावकों का चौथा शिक्षाव्रत अतिथिसंविभाग व्रत कहलाता है।

101. The fourth shiksha vrat, called the care of the guest or atithi samvibhag vrat, is--- to donate to ascetics food, water, clothing, medicines, etc. which are pure according to time and place. Here pure means that which is rightly earned, free of any faults include the fault of origin, and acceptable according the prescribed codes of ascetic conduct.

इस व्रत के निम्न पाँच अतिचार हैं १. अचित्त वस्तु को सचित्त वस्तु पर रखना, २ . सचित्त वस्तु से आच्छादित करना, ३. आहार का समय बीत जाने पर भोजन आदि बनाना, ४. देने की इच्छा से अपनी वस्तु को दूसरों की बतलाना और ५. मात्सर्य भाव से दान देना । इनका गृहस्थ परिहार करे ।
102. The transgressions of this vow are to put achit (not infested with living organisms) thing on a sachit (infested with living organisms)thing; to cover something achit by a sachit thing; to prepare food after the prescribed time has passed; to avoid giving by claiming one's own thing as belonging to others; and to give with malice. One should avoid all these.
