66. Only virtuous persons are actively involved in displaying affection for co-religionists, studying Jain canon, practising prescribed austerities, and popularising teerth or the ford.
भइमेम-हहि - धम्मकहि - वाह-आयरिय -सवन-जनिती। विचारावानणसम्मया, व तित्वं पाति॥ ६. ॥ ___६७. अवधिज्ञानादि विशिष्ट ऋद्धि के धारक, धर्म कथा में प्रवीण, वादी, प्रावचनिक, क्षपक अर्थात् तपोलब्धियुक्त, नैमित्तिक अर्थात् अष्टांग ज्योतिष, निमित्त शास्त्रादि में निपुण, तन्त्र-मन्त्र-यन्त्रादि विद्याओं में प्रौढ और राजा आदि द्वारा सम्मानित तीर्थ शासन की प्रभावना करके उसे महिमा मण्डित . करते हैं।
67. The persons who possess the accomplishments like Avadhi-jnana (extrasensory perception of the physical dimension) (1), who are proficient in religious discourses (2), who are experts of logic (3), who are experts of oration (acharya) (4), who have advanced in austerities (5), who have knowledge of augury and astrology (6), who have perfected the knowledge and practice of tantra, mantra, and yantra (7), and who are honoured by kings (8) are the ones who add to the glory of the teerth or the religious order.
तत्तत्थसहहाणं, सम्मत्तमसग्गहो न एयम्मि। मिच्छत्तखओवसमा, सुस्सूसाई उ होति दळं॥ ६८ ॥
६८. तत्त्वार्थ अर्थात् सर्वज्ञ की वाणी पर श्रद्धान सम्यक्त्व कहलाता है। इस सम्यक्त्व में असत्य के प्रति कदाग्रह नहीं होता है। मिथ्यात्व का क्षयोपशम होने से शुश्रूषादि (गुणों) द्वारा सम्यक्त्व दृढ होता है।
