સાતે પૃથ્વીમાં ક્ષેત્ર અને પ્રહરણ વિના પરસ્પરકૃત વેદના હોય છે. પાંચ પૃથ્વીમાં પ્રહરણકૃત વેદના પણ હોય છે. ત્રણ પૃથ્વીમાં પરમાધામીકૃત વેદના પણ હોય છે. (૨૦૬)
There are three types of Vedanās in the hell. They are :
1) Kshetrakruta Vedanā (i.e. Pain originated due to the environment of that hell.) It is in all the seven hells.
2) Anyonyakruta Vedanā. (i.e. Pain inflicted by the hell dwellers to each other.) It is of two types. 1) Without weapons - It is in all the seven hells 2) With weapons - It is in only first five hells.
3) Paramādhāmikruta Vedanā (Pain caused by the meanest deities) It is in only first three hells. 206 રયણuહ સક્કરપહ, વાલુયપદ પંકપણ ય ધૂમપહા ! તમપહા તમતમપહા, કમેણ પુઢવીણ ગોરાઈ ૨૦શા.
રત્નપ્રભા, શર્કરામભા, વાલુકાપ્રભા, પંકપ્રભા, ધૂમપ્રભા, તમ.પ્રભા, તમસ્તમઃ પ્રભા-આ ક્રમશઃ સાત પૃથ્વીના ગોત્ર છે. (૨૦૭)
Ratnaprabhā, Sharkarāprabhā, Vālukāprabhā, Pankaprabhā, Dhoomaprabhā, Tamahprabhā, Tamastamahprabhā are the seven Gotrās (i.e. name according to their environmental conditions) of the seven hells. 207 ઘમ્મા વંસા સેલા, અંજણ રિટ્ટા મઘા ય માઘવઈ ! નામેહિ પુઢવીઓ, છત્તાઈછત્ત સંડાણા ૨૦૮
