Then the parents took their daughter Bhûya in their front and went to Lord Pars'wa who is greatly renowned in the world, and having done so they saluted and bowed down to him three times and spoke thus: "Truly, O you beloved of the gods, Bhûya is our only dear daughter. She, O you beloved of the gods, has become aversed to worldly life (and so forth, down to) and wants to get herself bald-shaved in your presence and thus get herself initiated. Therefore, O you beloved of the gods, I offer to you this alms in the form of a female disciple. May you, O beloved of the gods, accept this alms of a female disciple.
