FOREWORD
We are happy to publish the Now Catalogue of the various mss. collections at Jesalmer. This was prepared and got printed by Rev. Muni Shri Punyavijayaji who is no more with us. During his life-time the printing of this Catalogue was finished but due to his other engagements he was not able to write the Introduction. So, the publication was delayed.
The expenses of preparation and printing were borne by the Svetămbara Jaina Conference of Bombay and we are much grateful to the authorities of this Conference for allowing us to publish the Catalogue.
The first Catalogue was published in 1923 A. D. in the G.O.S. Vol. No. 21. It was compiled by Shri C. D. Dalal and was edited with Introduction etc. by Pt. L. B. Gandhi. Therein we find the entries of the mss. as follows: 1) Bada Bhandar palm-leaf mss. 347 Badā Bhaņdār paper mss.
