Dull hard-brown-grey tinges it with selfishness. Carving looks are observed when there exists a strong craving for personal possession which may be called grasping animal affection. A shapeless blue rolling cloud denotes a "vaguely pleasurable religious feeling-a sensation of devoutness." A great cloud of deep dull blue floating over the heads of congregations may be sceen in many churches, Upward rush of devotion could be marked in the virile vigour of rising blue splendid form of spire. A definite "act of devotionan" "act of rather self-less-ness, or self-surrender and renunciation" is represented akin to the form of a partially opened flower-bud and "is of the loveliest pale azure with a glory of white light shining through it." It is a vague yellow cloud which means intellectual capacity. In the case of average man it is yellow ochre, while in respect to "intellect devoted to the study of philosophy or mathematics appears frequently to be golden, and this rises gradually to a beautiful clear and lumin ious brown or prim rose yellow when a powerful intellect is being employed absolutely unselfishly for the benefit of humanity." When the mind is determined to solve a problem or is resolved to obtain a full thorough answer to a query, the thought form assumes a shape resembling a cork-screw. It is indicated by rich deep orange colour coupled with hooked extensions for desire. In the case of a rough and partially intoxicated man who darted out at a woman as if he might slay her gave a picture of lurid flash from dark clouds'-though irregular in its shape in dirty brown. But in the case of 'steady anger, intense and desiring vengeance, of the quality of murder sustained through years, and directed against a person who had inflicted a deep injury on the subject there was a 'keen-pointed stilelto dart' in bloody red.
