યુધિષ્ઠિરનું અસત્યકથન ૬ છેવટે, મારી અને રા. નરસિંહરાવની વચ્ચે તત્વજ્ઞાનને એક બે મોટા મતભેદ આવીને ઊભા રહે છે. પાપ સામે પાપ ઊભું કરનાર શકિત પરમાત્મા જ છે એમ મારું માનવું છે. “પરમ પુરુષ પોતાના પવિત્ર સ્વરૂપની સાથે વિરોધ રાખનારા પાપને સાધનરૂપે પણ વાપરે એમાં રા. નરસિંહરાવને “એની શક્તિની ઊનતા જ” પ્રતીત થાય છે. પરમાત્માની આ રીતિ એની સર્વશક્તિમત્તા સાથે કેવી રીતે સંગત થાય છે એ પછી વિચારવાનું છે. પહેલું તો આપણે વસ્તુસ્થિતિ શી છે એટલું જ જોવાનું છે. એ જોતાં જણાય છે કે–પાપને પાપથી નાશ થાય છે એવી આ વિશ્વમાં એક યોજના છે. હવે, એ યોજનાને યશ પ્રકૃત દષ્ટાતમાં શિવાજીને આપી શકાતું નથી–એ યશ આપવો એને અર્થ તારું અતિ રાઠ્ય સુતિની નીતિનું જ અનમેદન આપવું એવો થાય. એ યોજના ભલે પરમાત્માની સર્વશક્તિમત્તા સાથે અસંગત –પણ એ પદ્ધતિએ કામ કરતી આ વિશ્વમાં કઈક શક્તિ વિરાજમાન છે એ અનુભવસિદ્ધ છે. અને તે મનુષ્ય કરતાં
અતિરિક્ત છે, યોજના(ચૈતન્ય સૂચવતી ઘટના)રૂપ છે, અને શુભકારી છે, તે તે પરમાત્માની જ છે એમ શબ્દાન્તરમાં કહ્યા વિના ચાલતુ નથી. હવે,
આ વિશ્વના બંધારણમાં કઈ વાત પરમાત્માના કેઈ ગુણ સાથે અસંગત દેખાય તો તેમાંથી બે પરિણામ ફલિત કરવામાં આવે છે. નિરીશ્વરવાદી એ અસંગતિને પરમાત્માના નિષેધ માટે ઉપયોગ કરે છે; ઈશ્વરવાદી એને પર#મારા અને રા. નરસિંહરાવના ઈશ્વરવાદમાં કેટલાક ફેર છે. પણ વિવાદનું કેકડું વધારે ગૂંચાઈ ન જાય તે માટે બહુધા હુ એમના ઈશ્વરવાદની ભૂમિકામાં રહીને જ બધી ચર્ચા કરશુ. + “The whole material and living world wages one ceaseless struggle in which infinite millions of living things are destroyed each instant amid infinite torture, infinite waste, and infinite confusion. If there be a God of Creation, there seems to be another God of Destruction. The universe seems to be an eternal war of infinite angelic or divine and demoniac or Satanic forces. A kind of Dualism between Ahrimanes and Oromasdes, with infinite subordinates on both sides, seems the more logical issue of contemplating the world an internecine warfare that never comes to any issue, never can end, and is nearly equally balanced. Ine Theist has to adinit that God the creator is also God the Destroyer" SRS 32466.
