________________ ( 64 ) (3) He should keep aloof from hypocricy and cheating. This is called Arjava Dharma (asia va. (4) He should speak the truth. This is called Satya Dharma (मत्व धर्म). (5) He should keep the soul pure and should not allow dark thoughts to corrupt it. He should also keep the body pure and clean by washing it. This is called Shaucha Dharma (na wa). (6) He should observe the five Anuvratas or minor vows, the five Samatis, and the three Guptis. He should also control the five Indriyas. This is called Sanyama Dharma (मंयम धर्म). (7) He should do twelve sorts of Tapa. This is called Tapa Dharma (aq vå). (8) He should abandon wicked thoughts. He should also abandon love of money and should spend it upon giving four kinds of Dana. This is called Tyaga Dharma (त्याग धर्म). (9) He should remember that in this world there is nothing his but self. This is called Akinchana Dharma (area wa). (10) He should remain absorbed in self. He should not also have sexual intercourse with any woman other than his own wife. This is called Brahmacharya Dharma (avauva). Every Jain is also enjoined to meditate upon the following twelve subjects. These are Twelve Anuprekshas Bas called the twelve Bhavanas or Anuprekshas.
