__. तृषितस्तु न भुञ्जीत क्षुधितो न पिवेज्जलम् ।
तृषितस्तु भवेद्गुल्मी क्षुधितस्तु जलोदरी ॥ १८४ ॥ प्यासा तो भोजन न करे और भूखा जल न पीवे । क्योंकि प्यासमें भोजन करनेसे गुल्मरोग हो जाता है और भूखमें पानी पीनेसे जलोदर रोग हो जाता है ॥ १८४॥
आदौ स्वादु स्निग्धं गुरु मध्ये लवणमाम्लमुपसेव्यम् ।
रूक्षं द्रवं च पश्चान्नं च भुक्त्वा भक्षयत्किचित् ॥ १८५॥ भोजनके लिए जब बैठे तब शुरूमें मीठा और चिकना भोजन करे, बीचमें भारी, नमकीन और खट्टा भोजन करे, तथा अन्तमें रूखा और पतला भोजन करे । भोजन कर चुकनेके बाद कुछ न खावे ॥ १८५ ॥
