मातृत्वमथ पत्नीत्व पितृत्वमथ पुत्रता । एकस्यां संगते व्यक्ती विरुद्धे अप्यपेक्षया ॥

માતૃત્વ અને પત્નીત્વ અથવા પિતૃત્વ અને પુત્રત્વ એવા વિરુદ્ધ ધર્મ એક જ વ્યક્તિમાં જુદી જુદી અપેક્ષાએ ઘટે છે એ સહુના જાણવામાં છે.
આ અનેકાન્તદનના ખ્યાલ આવે એ માટે વ્યવહાર– પ્રચલિત સાદા દાખવે છે. ૬
