7. Uvayoga-Arthādhikāra (The Authority of the Meaning of Use) 1. Uvayoga means the sūtra of the non-association gate. 2. ________________ ७ उवजोग-अत्थाहियारो १. उवजोगे त्ति अणियोगद्दारस्स सुत्तं । २. तं जहा । ___ (१०) केवचिरं उवजोगो कम्मि कसायम्मि को व केणहियो । को वा कम्मि कसाए अभिक्खमुवजोगमुवजुत्तो ॥६॥ ७ उपयोग-अर्थाधिकार युगपद् उपयोगद्वयी जिनवरके नमि पाय । इस उपयोग-द्वारको भाषू अति उमगाय ।। चूर्णि सू०-अब कसायपाहुडके पन्द्रह अर्थाधिकारोंमेंसे जो उपयोग नामका सातवाँ अनुयोगद्वार है, उसके आधार-स्वरूप गाथा-सूत्रोको कहते है। वे गाथासूत्र इस प्रकार किस कषायमें एक जीवका उपयोग कितने काल तक होता है ? कौन उपयोगकाल किससे अधिक है और कौन जीव किस कपायमें निरन्तर एक सदृश उपयोगसे उपयुक्त रहता है ? ॥६३॥ विशेषार्थ-यह गाथा तीन अर्थोका निरूपण करती है । (१) केवचिरं उवजोगो कम्मि कसायम्मि' अर्थात् किस कषायमे एक जीवका उपयोग कितने काल तक होता है ? क्या सागरोपम, पल्योपम, पल्योपमका असंख्यातवॉ भाग, आवली, आवलीका असंख्यातवॉ भाग, संख्यात समय, अथवा एक समय-प्रमाण काल तक वह उपयोग रहता है ? इस प्रकारकी यह प्रथम पृच्छा है । चूर्णिसूत्रकार आगे चलकर स्वयं इसका उत्तर देगे कि सभी कषायोका उपयोगकाल निर्व्याघात अवस्थामे जघन्य और उत्कृष्ट अन्तर्मुहूर्त-मात्र है। किन्तु व्याघातकी अपेक्षा एक समय-प्रमाण भी काल है। इस गाथा-द्वारा यह प्रथम अर्थ सूचित किया गया है । (२) 'को व केणहिओ' अर्थात् क्रोधादि कपायोका उपयोगकाल क्या परस्पर सदृश है, अथवा असदृश ? यह दूसरी पृच्छा है । इसके द्वारा कपायोके काल-सम्बन्धी अल्पघहुत्वकी सूचना की गई है । इसका निर्णय चूर्णिसूत्रकार आगे स्वयं करेंगे। (३) 'को वा कम्मि कसाए अभिक्खमुवजोगमुवजुत्तो' अर्थात् नरकगति आदि मार्गणाविशेपसे प्रतिवद्ध कौन जीव किस कषायमे निरन्तर एक सदृश उपयोगसे उपयुक्त रहता है ? यह तीसरी पृच्छा है। इसका अभिप्राय यह है कि नारकी आदि जीव अपनी भवस्थितिके भीतर क्या क्रोधोपयोगसे बहुत वार उपयुक्त होते हैं, अथवा मानोपयोगसे, मायोपयोगसे, अथवा लोभोपयोगसे ? * ताम्रपत्रवाली प्रतिमें 'उवजोगे त्ति' इतना मात्र ही सूत्र मुद्रित है और आगेके अगको टीकाका अग बना दिया है (देखो पृ० १६१०)। पर टीकासे ही 'अणिोगहारस्ल सुत्तं' इस अशके सूत्रता सिद्ध है।
