कसाय पाहुड सुत्त [५ संक्रम-अर्थाधिकार एक्के कम्हि य हाणे पडिग्गहे संकमे तदुभए च । भविया वाऽभविया वा जीवा वा केसु ठाणेसु ॥४०॥ कदि कम्हि होति ठाणा पंचविहे भावविधिविसेसम्हि ।
संकमपडिरगहो वा समाणणा वाऽध केवचिरं ॥४१॥ ~~~~
इस प्रकार उक्त गाथासे संक्रमस्थानोके अनुमार्गणके उपायभूत अर्थपदका ओघकी अपेक्षा निरूपण करके अब गाथासूत्रकार संक्रमस्थान, प्रतिग्रहस्थान और तदुभयस्थानोका आदेशकी अपेक्षा प्ररूपण करनेके लिए प्रश्नात्मक दो गाथा-सूत्र कहते है- एक-एक प्रतिग्रहस्थान, संक्रमस्थान और तदुभयस्थानमें गति आदि चौदह मार्गणास्थान-विशिष्ट जीवोंकी मार्गणा करनेपर भव्य और अभव्य जीव किस-किस स्थानपर होते हैं, तथा गति आदि शेष मार्गणास्थान-विशिष्ट जीव किन-किन स्थानोंपर होते हैं, औदयिक आदि पाँच प्रकारके भावोंसे विशिष्ट गुणस्थानों से किस गुणस्थानमें कितने संक्रमस्थान होते हैं और कितने प्रतिग्रहस्थान होते हैं, तथा किस संक्रमस्थान या प्रतिग्रहस्थानकी समाप्ति कितने कालसे होती है ? ॥४०-४१॥
विशेषार्थ-इन दो सूत्रगाथाओके द्वारा जिन प्रश्नोको उठाया गया है, या देशामर्शकरूपसे जिनकी सूचना की गई है, उनका समाधान आगे कही जानेवाली गाथाओमे यथातथानुपूर्वीसे किया गया है। किस गुणस्थानमे कितने संक्रमस्थान और प्रतिग्रहस्थान होते हैं, यह नीचे दिये गये चित्रमे बतलाया गया है ।

**[5. Sankrama-Arthadhikar]**

**One** **Sankrama** **(transition)** **and** **one** **Pratigraha** **(grasping)** **are** **said** **to** **be** **the** **same** **in** **this** **case.** **Therefore,** **it** **is** **so.** **Whether** **it** **is** **a** **Bhavya** **(destined** **for** **liberation)** **or** **an** **Abhavya** **(not** **destined** **for** **liberation)** **being,** **in** **which** **of** **the** **places** **(of** **existence)** **[does** **it** **exist]?** **[40]**
