इसी बात को विशेष रूप से कहते हैं - तिविहो एसुवओगो अप्पवियप्पं करेदि धम्मादी। कत्ता तस्सुवओगस्स होदि सो अत्तभावस्स॥

वह (मिथ्यात्व, अज्ञान और अविरति रूप) तीन प्रकार का उपयोग 'मैं धर्मादिक हूँ' ऐसा आत्मविकल्प करता है। वह आत्मा उस उपयोगरूप अपने भाव का कर्ता होता
Conditioned by the three impurities (erroneous faith, nescience, and non-abstinence), the Self indulges in such self-assertions as “I am dharma etc.”. That Self becomes the causal agent of impure modifications in his consciousness
कर्तृत्व का मूल अज्ञान है - एवं पराणि दव्वाणि अप्पयं कुणदि मंदबुद्धीए। अप्पाणं अवि य परं करेदि अण्णाणभावेण॥
(3-28-96)
इस प्रकार मन्दबुद्धि (अज्ञानी) अज्ञानभाव से परद्रव्यों को अपने रूप करता है और अपने को भी पररूप करता है।
In this way, a person of dull intellect, due to his ignorance, considers alien substances to be the Self, and also the Self to be alien substances.
