अध्याय -3
मोहयुक्त जीव के अनादिकालीन परिणाम -
उवओगस्स अणाई परिणामा तिण्णि मोहजुत्तस्स। मिच्छत्तं अण्णाणं अविरदिभावो य णादव्वो॥
(3-21-89)
मोह से युक्त उपयोग के तीन अनादिकालीन परिणाम हैं। वे (तीन परिणाम) मिथ्यात्व, अज्ञान और अविरतिभाव जानने चाहिये।
The consciousness, conditioned by delusion, undergoes three different kinds of modifications perpetually. These three modifications must be known as erroneous faith, nescience, and non-abstinence.
उपयोग विकारी भाव का कर्ता है -
एदेसु य उवओगो तिविहो सुद्धो णिरंजणो भावो। जं सो करेदि भावं उवओगो तस्स सो कत्ता॥ (3-22-90)
(मिथ्यात्व, अज्ञान और अविरति) इन तीनों का निमित्त मिलने पर भी आत्मा का उपयोग (यद्यपि निश्चय नय से) शुद्ध, निरंजन और एकभाव है, फिर भी तीन प्रकार के परिणाम वाला वह उपयोग जिस (विकारी) भाव को करता है, वह उसी भाव का कर्ता होता है।
Although the consciousness of the soul is inherently pure, flawless, and of unified disposition, when conditioned by the above mentioned three impurities (erroneous faith, nescience, and non-abstinence), it becomes the causal agent of corresponding psychic imperfections.
