355. (1) (Q.) Bhante ! How large is the avagahana. (space occupied) by the body of a Deva (divine-being) of the Saudharmkalp (dimension) ? ___(Ans.) Gautam ! The avagahana (space occupied) by the body of a Deva (divine-being) of the Saudharm dimension is of two kinds(1) Bhavadharaniya (by the normal body), and (2) Uttarvazkriya (by the secondary transmuted body). Of these the minimum avagahana (space occupied) of the Bhavadharaniya (normal) body is innumerable fraction of an angul and the maximum is seven ratnis.
The minimum avagahana (space occupied) of the Uttarvalkriya (secondary transmuted) body is countable fraction of an angul and the maximum is one lac (one hundred thousand) yojans.
(२).जहा सोहम्मे तहा ईसाणे कप्पे वि भाणियव्यं।
(२) ईशानकल्प मे भी देवों की अवगाहना का प्रमाण सौधर्मकल्प जितना ही जानना चाहिए।
(2) The avagahana (space occupied) by the body of a Deva (divine-being) of the Ishan dimension is same as that in the Saudharm dimension.
(३) जहा सोहम्मयदेवाणं पुच्छा तहा सेसकप्पाणं देवाणं पुच्छा भाणियव्वा जाव अच्चुयकप्पो___ सणंकुमारे भवधारणिज्जा जह. अंगु. असं., उक्को. छ रयणीओ; उत्तरवेउब्बिया
जहा सोहम्मे। ___ जहा सणंकुमारे तहा माहिंदे। ____ बंभलोग-लंतएसु भवधारणिज्जा जह. अंगु. असं., उक्को. पंच रयणीओ;
उत्तरवेउब्बिया जहा सोहम्मे। ___ महासुक्क-सहस्सारेसु भवधारणिज्जा जह. अंगु. असं., उक्को. चत्तारि रयणीओ; उत्तरवेउब्बिया जहा सोहम्मे। सचित्र अनुयोगद्वार सूत्र-२
