एगंतमवक्कमित्ता तत्थ चिट्ठिज्ज संजए॥ आहार तथा पानी के लिए गृहस्थ के द्वार पर अपने बराबर से जाते हुए या पहले से पहुंचे हुए श्रमण, ब्राह्मण, कृपण (भिक्षुक) तथा दरिद्र पुरुषों को लाँघकर | संयमी मुनि गृहस्थ के घर में प्रवेश न करे तथा गृह-स्वामी व उन श्रमण आदि की आँखों के सामने भी खड़ा न होवे, अपितु एकान्त में जाकर खड़ा रहे||१०-११॥ NO PUSHING AHEAD
10, 11. An ascetic approaching a house should not push ahead of or cross over, other seekers including shramans, Brahmins, beggars or destitute persons, in an effort to enter the house ahead of them. He should not even stand in the view of the householder in order to draw his attention; instead he should wait at an isolated spot. १२ : वणीमगस्स वा तस्स दायगस्सुभयस्स वा।
