तीसरा पद :-आत्मा की है। सब पदार्थ अर्थक्रियासे संपन्न है। सभी पदार्थोमें कुछ न कुछ क्रियासहित । परिणाम देखनेमें आता है। आत्मा भी क्रियासंपन्न है। क्रियासंपन्न होनेके कारण वह कर्ता है। श्रीजिनभगवान्ने इस कर्तापनेका तीन प्रकारसे विवेचन किया है:-परमार्थसे आत्मा स्वभावपरिणतिसे निजस्वरूपका कर्ता है। अनुपचरित अनुभवमें आने योग्य-विशेष संबंधसहित ) व्यवहारसे आत्मा द्रव्य-कर्मका कर्ता है। उपचारसे आत्मा घर नगर आदिका कर्ता है। Third Pada (philosophical spiritual step):Soul is doer (of his own deeds):- All substances are endowed with substantial efficacious process, all substances are seen associated with some or other process of VA modification. Soul also is endowed with a activity. Because it is endowed with activity it is doer. This doership is analysed in three- . fold way by Lord Jina (the conqueror of internal enimies like ignorance, passions, karmas etc.)
