गुरु-जण = गुरुजनों के प्रति, पूआ = सन्मान परत्थ-करणं च = और परोपकार की प्रवृत्ति
परत्थ = परोपकार की, करणं = प्रवृत्ति, च = और सुह-गुरु-जोगो = सद्गुरु का योग
सुह = सद्, गुरु = गुरु का, जोगो = योग तव्वयण-सेवणा = उनकी आज्ञा के पालन में प्रवृत्ति
तब्बयण = उनकी आज्ञा के, सेवणा = पालन की प्रवृत्ति आ-भवमखंडा = पूरी भव परंपरा में अखंडित रूप से
आ-भवं = पूरी भव परंपरा में, अखंडा = अखंडित रूप से
gururjana = towards elders, pua = respect parattha-karanam ca = and benevolent activities
parattha = benevolent, karanam = activities, ca = and suha-gurujogo = contacts with worthy preceptors
suha = worthy, guru = preceptors, jogo = contacts with tavvayaņa-sevaņā = activeness in carrying out their instructions / directives

३.वारिज्जइ जइ वि नियाण बंधणं = यद्यपि निदान बंधन का
निषेध किया जाता है वारिज्जइ = निषेध किया जाता है, जइ = यदि, वि = अपि,
