The pure and spotless Jinas, who have abandoned all worldly attachments, are the refuge of the entire universe. 73 || The great and supreme Lord, who is the essence of all virtues, is worshipped. 12 || Those who have attained equanimity, who are free from attachment and aversion, and who are engaged in the welfare of all beings, are worthy of reverence.
2 || The venerable ones, who are endowed with the splendor of asceticism, who have conquered the senses, and who are engaged in the welfare of all beings, are worthy of worship.
4 || The lords of the three worlds, who have attained the highest state of liberation, who are free from all attachments, and who are engaged in the welfare of all beings, are worthy of worship.
12 || Then, with humility and respect, I bow down to the feet of the Jina, the supreme lord, the sun of the Jain community, who has destroyed the pride of the demons.
14 || O venerable ones! If you are pleased, then please grant me the refuge of your feet, for I am devoid of any virtuous deeds.
16 || Therefore, I take refuge in the lord of the world, who is free from all attachments and who is the protector of the entire universe.
20 || What is the difference between us? We are both equal in our ignorance.
21 || I am like a child who is afraid of the dark. In the city of Yavadwipa, where the Ketaka flowers bloom, I am wandering with a confused mind.
23 || Surely, this is the time of my awakening. I am now inclined towards the path of liberation, and I am determined to attain the highest state of enlightenment.
16 || The teacher, who is the essence of all virtues, has shown me the path of liberation, and I am now determined to follow it.
