express our appreciation of the loyal, honest and scholarly services put in by PANDIT BISHESHWAR NATH REU over a period of 30 years.

Under Mr. Reu's vigilant care, the Museum, the
Public Library and the Archael ogical Department have achieved great success. 3. Besides this, Mr. Reu has successfully completed the very difficult task of completing an impartial STATE HISTORY in a scholarly manner. This history had shown no sign of progress during the last three generations and Mr. Reu's work has been well commended by Scholars in India and abroad, for the amount of patient care and diligent research devoted to it. 4. This Special Sanad for his commendable merits is,
therefore, given to Pandit Reu.
