________________ Influx of Karma (Asrava) 45 In the same way, the circumstances generated by the fruition of the pre-existing Karma cannot result into the new Kārmika bonding if the soul does not have Asrava Bhāva. In stanza 174, Ācārya Kundakunda explains that the bonding happens in accordance with the response of the soul to the external circumstances created by the fruition of Karma. With Asrava Bhāva bonding takes place, and without Asrava Bhāva there cannot be Kārmika bonding.
