________________ 66 Soul Science : Samayasara by Jain Acarya Kundakunda writes that the realization of the Self through the realization of the science-of-separation leads to the absence of Adhyavasāna. Further, through stanzas 191 and 192 we learn that the absence of these leads to the blockage of Asrava Bhāva inclination of attachment, inclination of aversion, and delusion about Self and others); without Asrava Bhāva there cannot be Kārmika bonding; and without Kārmika bonding there cannot be any physical body that becomes the source of worldly suffering (pain and pleasure). Since the science-of-separation (Bheda-Vijñāna) described in the first six stanzas in this chapter is the key of Samvara, this chapter on Samvara has been concluded by Ācārya Amstacandra in Ātmakhyāti by Kalasa 131 and 132 with an emphasis on the importance of the science-of-separation. In Kalasa 131, Ācārya Amstacandra very nicely summarizes the significance of the science-of-separation (Bheda-Vijñāna):- he writes that all liberated souls got liberation by the realization of the science-of-separation, and all beings who have not yet realized the science-of-separation are suffering from the worldly bondage. ***
