The Doer (Kartā) and the deed ( Karma )
कणयमया भावादो जायंते कुण्डलादओ भावा । अयमयया भावादो जह जायंते दु कडयादी ||1301 अण्णाणमया भावा अणाणिणो बहुविहा वि जायंते । णाणिस्स दुणाणमया सव्वे भावा तहा होंति ।। 131॥
Nāṇamayā bhāvāo ṇāṇamao ceva jāyade bhāvo. Jamhā tamhā nānissa savve bhāvā hu nānamayā. ||128|| Annānamayā bhāvā annāno ceva jāyade bhāvo. Jamhā tamhā bhāvā annānamayā anānissa. ||129 || Kaṇayamayā bhāvādo jayante kunḍalādao bhāvā. Ayamayayā bhāvādo jaha jāyante du kadayādī. ||130 || Anṇāṇamayā bhāvā aṇṇāṇiņo bahuvihā vi jāyante. Nānissa du nānamayā savve bhāvā tahā homti. || 137 ||
ज्ञानमयाद्भावात् ज्ञानमयश्चैव जायते भावः ।
यस्मात्तस्माज्ज्ञानिनः सर्वे भावाः खलु ज्ञानमयाः ।।128।।
अज्ञानमयाद्भावादज्ञानश्चैव जायते भावः ।
यस्मात्तस्माद्भावा अज्ञानमया अज्ञानिनः ||129॥
कनकमयाद्भावाज्जायंते कुंडलादयो भावाः ।
अयोमयकाद्भावाद्यथा जायंते तु कटकादयः ।।130ll
अज्ञानमया भावा अज्ञानिनो बहुविधा अपि जायते ।
ज्ञानिनस्तु ज्ञानमयाः सर्वे भावास्तथा भवंति ||131॥
Since from the right knowledge (Jñāna), only Bhāva with right knowledge are produced, therefore, all Bhāva of a right knower (Jñānī) are full of Jñāna. [128]
Since from the ignorance (Ajñāna), only Bhāva of ignorance are produced, therefore, Bhāva of an ignorant (Ajñānī) are full of Ajñāna. [129]
Just as from gold, earrings, etc., (gold-ornaments), are produced, and from iron, chains etc., (things of iron ), are produced, in the same way, in case of an ignorant, there happens a variety of Bhāva replete with Ajñāna, and in case of a rightknower (Jñānī) all Bhāva are full of Jñāna. [130-131]
